10 ways to more energy, mental clarity, and better sleep

The lymphatic system is a vital part of the body’s immune system, responsible for removing toxins and waste from the cells.

Here are your keys to staying healthy and reversing the aging process:

  1. Stay hydrated and drink more water

    Drink 1/2 of your body weight in ounces of water. (Ex. If you weigh 150 LBS, drink 75 ounces of water).

    Add lemon, cucumber, mint, or ginger, to make it more alkaline. Adding Rosemary herb to your water helps decrease inflammation.

  2. Take Epson salt and lavender baths

    Take them as needed. (At least 4 cups of Epsom salt per bath).

    If you don’t have a bathtub, soak a towel in a basin of lukewarm water with 4 cups of Epsom salt, squeeze some water slightly out, roll it, and place it around your neck while soaking your feet in it.

  3. Use aluminum-free deodorant

    Use an aluminum-free deodorant.

    (My favorite: Himalayan Salt Spray or Crystal - Saltability.com)

  4. Reduce sugar and go wheat-free

    Avoid artificial sweeteners, dairy, sugar, wheat (gluten), corn, soy, preservatives, food additives, and processed food.

  5. Keep your body moving

    Use a large pilates ball, sit on it and start bouncing on it for 10 minutes and go up to 20 minutes daily. It’s low impact and decongests, and improves the lymphatic flow.

  6. Use a dry body brush daily

    Dry brushing revitalizes the skin, stimulates circulation, helps eliminate body toxins, and reduces the appearance of cellulite.

  7. Take organic apple cider vinegar

    A tablespoon will aid your body’s detoxification. It’s best to take it first thing in the morning and right after dinner.

  8. Add Cayenne Pepper to your routine

    Cayenne with a lemon or lime is a known circulatory stimulant increases the pulse in our lymphatic and aids in detoxification.

  9. Belly Breathing

    Breathing is a primary secret weapon everyone is talking about now. Incorporating breathing techniques throughout the day reduces anxiety and stress and keeps our lungs in great shape.

  10. Sleeping 7 to 9 hours a day is essential

    Just like you prioritize your diet and physical activity, it’s time to give sleep the attention it deserves.
